Kane Street is led by Samarth Patel — your single point of contact on every deal, with a network of Connecticut specialists ready when a transaction calls for them. That’s the difference.

Founder, Kane Street Capital · CT Real Estate Advisor
Samarth Patel
I bought my first property at 22, and I’ve been building in Connecticut real estate ever since — across single-family, multifamily, and small business, as both an active operator and a passive investor.
Before real estate became my focus, I spent over a decade at a Fortune 500 company in financial planning & analysis, long-range forecasting, acquisitions, and digital transformation. I hold a Bachelor’s in Finance and an MBA with concentrations in Finance, Management, and Real Estate from the University of Connecticut. That finance-first training is how I read every deal.
In 2023 I founded Kane Street Capital to help busy professionals invest in real estate through syndications and joint ventures. For clients buying, selling, or investing, I take a hands-on, data-driven approach — underwriting deals, analyzing leases, structuring financing (from conventional and FHA to private and creative), and building disposition strategies. I’m a licensed Connecticut salesperson with Oxford Realty in Hartford.
I work with a deliberate number of clients, so you always deal with me directly. When a deal moves outside my focus — say office leasing — I bring in the right specialist from my brokerage network, and stay your point of contact start to finish. Outside of work, you’ll find me outdoors, in a good book or podcast, or spending time with my wife and our dog.

How I Work
A Different Standard
One point of contact — with a network behind it
You always deal with me directly. When a deal calls for expertise outside my focus, I bring in the right specialist from my brokerage — so you get full-service depth without losing your single point of contact.
An owner-operator’s eye
I invest in Connecticut real estate myself, so I evaluate condition, cash flow, and value the way an owner does — not just a listing agent.
Skin in the game
I put my own capital to work in this market. The read I give you is the one I’d act on with my own money.
Straight dealing
Honest pricing, a clear process, and no pressure. I’d rather lose a deal than oversell one.

Chief Happiness Officer
Neo Patel
Neo is Kane Street’s Chief Happiness Officer — a chocolate Labrador who takes office morale very seriously. His duties include greeting every visitor, enforcing regular walk breaks, and supervising operations from the most comfortable spot in the room.
He believes the best deals are built on patience, and that no problem is too big to be solved by a good nap or a well-timed game of fetch. Work ethic: unmatched (terms and conditions: treats apply).
Where Kane Street Is Headed
Building Something
Lasting
Kane Street starts as a hands-on, advisor-led practice with a network of Connecticut professionals behind it — and that’s a deliberate strength, not a limitation. The vision is to grow into a full brokerage and an investment arm, Kane Street Capital, that raises and deploys capital into Connecticut real estate.
The standard stays the same as it scales: direct relationships, an owner’s eye on every deal, and aligned interests. You’re working with that vision from the ground floor.
